Questions and Concerns

Since we are looking for the “blueprints” of dot com companies, we define business planning documents broadly as any material that helps understand the assumptions, strategies and tactics that underlie a startup. These materials might include:
  • The brief executive summaries or PowerPoint presentations that entrepreneurs typically distributed widely to potential funders or partners
  • The full, detailed business plans
  • Spreadsheets or other financial assumptions that were distributed along with the business plan
  • Memos, emails or published articles that shed light on startup strategies
