Each course will be using the Archive for different purposes. To reduce overlap, and especially to take advantage of each other’s efforts, when you select a company or collection of documents to work on, please post a “Comment” on that company’s main Archive entry page announcing what you’re doing.
Please read on for further details about how to keep the rest of the user community informed of your plans.
Your "Comment" should include the following information:
1. Your intention to do research on the company;
2. The timeframe of your project;
3. What you are actually planning to do (see additional post with suggestions); and
4. Your own contact information in case other students would like to get in touch with you about coordinating project efforts across classes and / or projects.
Also, as your project progresses, please post periodic updates using the “Comment” fields for your chosen company. If you have discovered interesting information about what happened to the company, or even if your research has raised further questions for your research, sharing these ideas with the community of students using the site is part of the reason the Business Plan Archive was created in the first place.
